You are a puppet.
Someone pulls the strings.
And you dance.
That is what happens when you stop thinking -
The key ability, education imparts.
Without it, we become easy to divide:
Religion against religion.
Language against language.
Culture against culture.
While we fight among ourselves,
the real enemy remains hidden:
Blind belief.
Blind obedience.
Our reluctance to question.
Our laziness to react.
A belief you cannot interrogate is not wisdom.
A tradition you accept without scrutiny is a ghost
that rules your life from the shadows.
When you lack the ability to think critically:
Others think for you.
They sell you comforting lies and hollow promises.
They make you follow rules you do not understand.
You start believing reels over facts.
You accept superstitions as sacred.
An educational qualification opens the gate,
but only curiosity can walk you through it.
The ones who never ask "why",
will forever be dancing to other's tunes.
So ask yourself:
Which belief have you never truly questioned?
